I have found A LOT of inconsistency in the quality of the counselors with NACA. I've spoken to several because they keep changing my counselor.

I've had at least four so far and each starts all over from the beginning. I have had two who were excellent, organized and answered all of my questions. I've had others who were completely unhelpful, rude and talked down to me. I've had them not show for appointments and when I tried to call and email about it, they did not respond at all.

I was just assigned to yet another counselor who did send me an email with questions. Based on the questions, I'm not holding out much hope for this one. I sent them all of the documents needed to get things going and more. I didn't want anything holding up the process.

They hold the process up in various ways. It's hard to schedule an appointment. They cancel appointments all the time. I had six appointments in a row cancelled or as no shows.

When you try to reschedule, sometimes you have to wait a month to get a new one. At this point, I'm ready to bag it and go with FHA.

Get out and find another company

If you are genuinely having problems as you describe, you can always reach out to NACA management, contact our Member Services Department at 425-602-6222 or ask through help via any of our social media channels. It will certainly be more productive than posting an anonymous complaint on an unrelated website. It will also be far more beneficial to you than the extra $15,000 to $20,000 an FHA mortgage will cost you over the life of the loan.

There are many of the same complaints on here. I love that this company has someone to respond back but some responses are a bit much.

Everybody can't be lying. And Tim Trumble you made a comment about someone leaving an anonymous complaint on an unrelated website but this is the site for those complaints. I mean you are on here responding back too many.

And it's a person's right if they choose to leave their complaint anonymously. I like that you respond back but maybe you could not come across as arrogant.
