1. Written by T. Gibbs on October 7, 2011 from houston, texas, US The best way is to just go to their website and file out everything you can. When you exit it will automatically send you a email with your ID number and temp user id. How this helps. I got a call from my bank that half the things they fax or said they fax didn't come thru or they half did the job. Too many of their people are volunteers and don't know anymore than you do ![]()
2. Written by 6 year Naca home owner(thanks on July 1, 2011 from lawrenceville, georgia, US I had some of the same negative experiences with Naca services. And instead of taking it personal, I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they are non profit organization. "non-profit" meaning if u decide to take your business elsewhere, they are not losing anything. It will actually be your loss. After being in my beautiful home for over 6 years with a 4.25% fixed rate, I don't give a *** about how difficult it was dealing with what I thought was bad service. And when I look back, I realize that that things didn't happen as quickly as I wanted them to happen because i wasn't as ready as I thought I was. Now I refer all my family and friends to Naca. But always let them know that if they are in a rush to be approve, Naca may not be for them. Although my family & friends joke about me working for Naca because I'm always recommending them, Im just a regular dude with a low mortgage thanks to Naca. And if u don't believe me, feel free to call me at 973-259-6644

Written by suspicious on November 14, 2010 from los angeles, california, US if i didnt know any better i would think it was all some sort of stall tactic. but then i guess they would have to be working with banks to pull that one off. and i cant imagine why the banks would want to give them money and work with them to stall people. after all. the banks cant wait to work with and help the people. they were just waiting for the right group to motivate them. if the feds, gov, courts, or even our laws have not been able to get them to do the right thing, then why not a non profit corporation because what could make more perfect sense then spontaneous premeditation's? sandpaper condom anyone? |
4. Written by wow! on November 14, 2010 from los angeles, california, US If the last post is not "NACA" then I guess I am clueless as to what bull$#!% is. "GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!" I will keep praising "NACA" and refer all my "friends" and "Family to them!" ?? good grief just look at the wording and key phrases. its like an old carpet commercial. If you expect the people to believe a couple of posts here and there, as opposed to the masses of people that have been attempting to deal with "NACA" for sometime now, then god bless you! even if 5,000 people out of say 500,000 people were actually successful, I am almost positive you would see a few more than a couple of posts. at least more than 75 or even 100 positive posts and those numbers are being generous! I myself have not found more than even "50" total positive posts and I for one would surely hope that "NACA" has in the very least been able to help even a few thousand so far. because If not then maybe its time they stop throwing huge media events portraying themselves as the great successful saviors of the american people touring around like some evangelist rock band and actually focus on moving along through the hundreds of thousand people still waiting on the telephone for hours or in line for days just to get a number to be able to qualify to officially wait some more!
5. Written by Happy w Naca on May 14, 2010 from charlotte, north carolina, US We haved been going through the process since January. All of the conventional programs would have diluted if not depleted our savings and we both have credit scores over 600. David in the Philly office has been very helpful. There are some pitfalls, and we feel like we submitted much of the same information over and over and over again. But we had our inspection yesterday and are very happy.

7. Written by CS on April 19, 2010 from los angeles, california, US Well, it must be luck of the draw b/c I also am having a HORRIBLE experience w/ NACA! I went to the seminar in August 2009. Here is is April 2010 and I don't even have my pre-approval letter. I have been ready to purchase since last year. My finances are in order. I did not have to save any shock payments. Nothing. My counselor NEVER returns my calls or messages. He shoots me an email every once in a blue moon to tell me he's going to submit my profile "next week" and that week has come and gone a million times. I'm still here w/no help. I've tried to call corporate and every other office and get no live person, or help. I've called the local office and get no help. There just is nothing I can do b/c no one will help me. It's very annoying. I've missed the tax credits and interest rates are going up every day. NACA has wasted a lot of my time. I could have just gone another route and had a house by now! All the money I think I'm saving w/NACA will end up not being savings since the house prices and loan rates are going up. Inglewood is the office I'm dealing with. I've heard good things about the office in Las Vegas. So maybe it varies by offices. But my suggestion...don't waste your time with the Inglewood NACA office!
8. Written by mrs.toni on March 15, 2010 from cleveland, ohio, US dont pay this person any attention, their somone who works with NACA. They are posting FAKE SUCCESS stories, tryin to get people to contuine to refer NACA. Fix the complaints u have first MS.ORGANIZED WIFE!!! Same on you! ![]()
9. Written by Organized Wife! on March 12, 2010 from atlanta, georgia, US Well I'm not sure who you all are dealing with at your locations but me and my husband have nothing but great things to say about NACA and their process. Sure they may be a little unorganized but we have really moved thru the process pretty quickly with taking in consideration that we were planning a wedding at the same time! We went to the first seminar in July 2009 . I did have to call because we never got our member id! you need to call during the day and ask for Ms. Phylls. Our first meeting was schedule in October and We got NACA approved this past February! We communicate with our counselor through email! and she always responds within a hour! For the Home Purchase people its all in how much you want a home. Sure if they say they didn't get a fax.. JUST SEND IT AGAIN! They are always looking out for your best interest and if they feel you're not ready to buy a home then you're not ready! You still have to do your part.... like keeping in close contact with your counselor! You also have to realize that they are just not trying help you get a house they're also helping 400 other people get homes and trying to save homes as well. Their working with People that just got on board with NACA and people thats trying to get NACA approved as well as people thats already approved and they still have to find a house! Thats why they encourage people to volunteer! My counselor has told me countless stories about people that's almost there then the stop saving the money required or start making large purchases on their credit cards or going out of town during their house inspection! I'm confident that this is the best move for us and at the end of the day we'll be grateful that we'll be getting a $200k home and our mortgage will be under $900/mth including HOA fees, Property Taxes and Home owners Insurance!!!!!! Now if thats not worth the wait then KEEP IT MOVING to another lender that will not look at for your best interest! I know It'll free up room for those that really want to go through the NACA process! One word of advise! Be ORGANIZED! Our counselor was very impressed with how organized we were and knew we wanted a house through them!!! When they see that you want it that's when they make it a priority to to be on top of their end!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL! I will keep on praising NACA and Refer all my friends and Family to them!
