NACA - Absolute WORST experience getting paid as a Contractor
If you're a contractor and are considering getting involved with NACA for any work on their member's homes, DON'T. I have been waiting to get paid for work completed and keep getting the run around.
They keep promising payment, but nothing ever happens. They owe me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!
DON'T make the same mistake, and if you're considering getting involved with NACA as a member, you're wasting your time too. My customers/members are still LIVING in an "unfinished" home!!
Reason of review: Problems with payment.

I can not find any contractor who wants to work for NACA and the HAND department. he does not want to cancel the amount of money that citibank approved for me. Now I have to pay money that I can not use .....Now I see why no contractor wants to work with naca.
Please contact me directly with the information on your situation. I will bring the matter up directly with the director of the HAND department to be dealt with.

I am sorry for your long wait. I am waiting as a member applicant for an approval to get qualified by an underwriter. It has been over a month and I keep sending them redundant pay stubs, bank statements and LOE
Hey DM,
Do not get any mortgage from NACA. They will have a lien on your property at the closing and you cannot have your control of your house for the life of the mortgage if you want to do anything, i.e get a loan or home equity line of credit.
My advice to you: Get out before it is too late and get your mortgage with a normal financial institute and have the control of your house.
