Naca has cost us two inspections, and possibly the loss of our earnest money on a house that has taken 70+ days and counting to close escrow. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
NACA, with the exception of my experience with Wells Fargo and losing our house to Short Sale, this was almost as bad. The experience is going on 1 year with our current closing approaching 70 + days, and we now have our sellers talking about relisting the house we are purchasing.
We have lost houses because of NACA's incompetence and lack of urgency. Our counselor has made the experience even worse by not doing his job, as our advocate. We had a wish list of items with the required letter and our counselor put it in the wrong location, and resulted in us opting out of wish list because of the extended time it would have required. We have had horrible correspondence from the HAND department, the NACA Phoenix office, and most everyone we have dealt with.
The employees do not seem to care about helping NACA members and the amount of paperwork they require has taken an acre of forest. If you are thinking about NACA, think real hard, and then RUN, RUN ,RUN!!!!
This reviewer shared experience about poor customer service and wants this business to read this review and look into the issue (if any). The author is overall dissatisfied with Naca. The most disappointing about naca homeownership program from Naca was counselor, empty promises and repeatedly missed key deadlines , but reviewer liked no money down. Reviewer wants customer support to reach out to him or her ASAP for further discussion of this matter.
