You want to waste time and energy getting a house? then choose NACA.

OMG this is the worst company to do business with. Just like the reviews says......no return calls, no response to emails , absolutely no adult communication .luckily I saw that NACA is a huge waste of time and didn't lose any cash except for the membership fee, and credit check.

Don't let the no money down, low interest rate, no PMI sucker you in because you will be waiting for something that may never happen.

We applied for a mortgage from a different company and was approved in three days. Worked with NACA for 8 months and I was no closer to completing or getting to the underwriter.

Please listen to everyone's advise and do not get in this program unless you have years to invest .

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

NACA Cons: No call backs, Incompetent, Customer service.

NACA had me arrested because I am exposing their blatant regard to State and Federal Laws. Search NACA on facebook and you will see my videos. Feel free to reach out to me if you need the proper authorities to report them to.

NACA Online

Nowhere is it promised that the NACA process is fast or easy, but if you felt your counselors were rude or lazy, you should have contacted NACA Member Services and filed a formal complaint. Such complaints are sent directly to the regional director for investigation and disciplinary action if necessary.

At the very least, you file would have been transferred to another counselor and even to the remote counseling program if needed to keep you moving forward. We're sorry you felt the need to go elsewhere, especially since it will cost you thousands of dollars in the long run through a greater interest rate and closing costs, regardless of anyone's credit score.

Just as unfortunate is that walking away and going elsewhere instead of reporting the perceived incompetence gives us no opportunity to deal with any problems that may exist and help you get back on track toward your goal of affordable homeownership. Tim Trumble Online Operations, NACA

Stop defending an organization that you KNOW is flawed and quite frankly a nightmare to anyone selling their house to a Naca buyer. Out of 100 reviews you have 4 that are positive. You need to really stop defending and making excuses for the poorly trained people that represent and work for this organization and try to see how you can make improvements.

Honestly, I don't believe half the good reviews Naca have. With my own personal experience I know naca sucks.

I want proof. The way NACA is runned? No ma'am/sir. I don't believe that for a secondโ€ผ.

I don't believe the good reviews. My experience is word for word of the complaints.

You are so full of *** Naca sucks just admit it. I'd respect you more if you just admit naca has issues, but to just get on here and try to minimize peoples horrible experiences is just disgusting!!

MR. TIM. Thousands of people complaining about the same thing should tell you there's something seriously wrong with the way this program is being run. Stop lying to people.

You know damn well naca is nothing but a waiting game. We are 10 months in sir, and no closer to getting our home than when we started---- yet was able to get approved by BOA in 3 days. Stop blaming the potential homebuyers when it is 1000% NACA. I would NEVER EVER RECOMMEND NACA .

It's a scam. By the time you realize it's a waste of time you've wasted months some even YEARS! On Naca. Naca has been in business for over a decade, yet only closed on 60 houses..

Why is that? The program sounds awesome people should be fighting to get a Naca mortgage but that's not the case is it Timmy?

If you would like to ensure they stop with their shenanigans and stop them from further serving economic injustice to other consumers and like your voice heard, please download and fill out a f13909 (tax-exempt organization complaint) and forward it to the IRS. They receive their tax-exempt status from the IRS and they're governed by Federal Law.

Choose "other" for the type of violation and record it as acts contradictory to public policy. If the IRS learns enough of their antics and violations of their tax-exempt status, the IRS can revoke their status and shut them down.

Once you complete the form, you can email it to eoclass@***.gov or you can mail it. Please stand up to this company!

Tim That is so not true and you know it. I requested a new counselor 6 months in when I found out just how ridiculously incompetent the MC was ( we started the process November 2017.

he basically hadn't done squat to our file the whole entire 6 month we'd been with him) I contacted member services to complain/request a new MC. Member services informed me I'd have to call my local NACA office----I'm still waiting for a call back from the manager at my local NACA office. So stop lying Tim. You're lying /blaming folks again Tim.

Member services is USELESS I don't understand the purpose of them? Whenever you call them they just tell you to call your local NACA office.

Nobody ever answers the phone at my local naca office. The incompetence is running rampid in NACA.

That is my current situation. My husband and I started with them in November 2017 it will be a year this November 2018 and we are no closer to getting our home than when we first started.

We've had 2 different counselors within this time. One was competent but super rude. The other was just LAZY. My husband's credit score has gone up tremendously and we've saved up quite a bit of money .

We are in the process of just going somewhere else. We've been wanting to relocate for better jobs for 3 years. It took us 3 years to save up, naca is really holding us up. The Process is just too slow --- there's no sense of urgency.

I feel it's only my husband and I working on our file. I make sure every document is recent and uploaded, no new credit open, no outstanding debt, been at the same job for 6 years for my husband and 3 years for me. I understand everyone's situation is different but we were told we were more than naca qualified. His exact words were "he wished more of his naca clients came as prepared/ready as us".

This process shouldn't of taken no more than 3 months. I really don't understand what's the hold up? Our paperwork has been sent to the underwriter twice and returned twice due to our very incompetent MC. He just send it in knowing theres 20-30 missing!!

He doesn't tell us there are things missing. Things that wouldve taken a minute to fix he waits until the underwriter sends him a scathing note asking why he is so incompetent. I was very glad we weren't the only one who got the incompetence vibe from our MC. This is what angers me and makes me feel like they're just trying to sign up as much people as possible with no intentions of helping them.

They love to say be patient but they don't tell potential homebuyers the process can take 3 months - 2 years!!!!. I think my husband and I have been quite patient considering it's going on a year and we're still on phase 3 of the naca home buying process. How much more time do we need to give them? I certainly am not giving them 2 years.

It should be 3 people working on your file . The homebuyer, the MC and the realtor. How is it going to work when the homebuyer is the ONLY one who gives a damn about their file? I see our MC every month.

There's never anything new but I prefer to go in person than to call. We are very on top of our file even if they aren't.

Our bank is currently giving homebuyers credit so we're just going to apply through them and use our savings with the grant to get rid of the PMI, my husband's credit score is almost 800 so we know he can get an awesome interest rate. We see no reason to stay with naca.
