I don’t care how prepared you are they will find something that makes you wait. Plus they’re rude.

You never get that treatment elsewhere when you’re buying a house. I wasted a lot of time with NACA. Now interest rates are higher but I’m not dealing with them for my loan anymore. Yesterday was my date I had to get qualified.

I just didn’t even go. Didn’t call either. That’s how they operate. Don’t answer the phones.

I drove an hour one day to meet with my counselor and he was standing around with his coworkers and told me my appointment was cancelled. He could’ve easily called or emailed me ahead of time. I kept my cool though. The program is just not worth being treated like that.

I had perfect credit, way more than enough money in the bank, and already had a savings pattern. He told me to wait until I did my taxes to qualify for more but even then they weren’t going to qualify me for much. They saw all that money in my savings and we’re gonna be sure they collected on that buydown. Well now I’m about to get a house on my own and will be closing in a few weeks.

The success stories you see are few and far between and some of the posts are just people getting volunteer credit by posting about NACA.

It’s a begging game. Consumers should be treated like royalty when we’re buying houses making people rich.

I recently attended one of there events. They out right tell you that they will treat you bad.

And they act like thats ok. After the first part of the orientation I walked away. I did not like what I heard. The guy actually said if you question anything they are asking you for they will move onto the next person and throw your file to the side.

Very bad customer service practice. This is not a house that they are giving you.

It's still your purchase. It's still money you owe.

I hate that comment made you walk away from a great product. My counselor held a full blown conversation with another counselor on how a member complained on her so she stopped working on her file.

I was pretty annoyed, but hey, NACA doesn’t hold their counselors to high expectations. If they did these types of behaviors wouldn’t be a normal complaint. NACA gets a F on customer service from me.
