I have been working with NACA for the last 7 months. I came to them with my credit cleaned i gave them everything that had been asked of me but was completely lied to by a manager..

the staff never returned my calls and the manager would even answer and pretend it wasnโ€™t her.. i was told that my file was complete after i took care of One last min issue and would be taken to Tuesday night review by a Manager but was not.... I had a nervous breakdown after all of this which the staff knew however no one cared or reached out...

Iโ€™m hurt stressed and disappointed with this company, they need to be investigated and shut down.... Horrible experience

If you would like to ensure they stop with their shenanigans and stop them from further serving economic injustice to other consumers and like your voice heard, please download and fill out a f13909 (tax-exempt organization complaint) and forward it to the IRS. They receive their tax-exempt status from the IRS and they're governed by Federal Law.

Choose "other" for the type of violation and record it as acts contradictory to public policy. If the IRS learns enough of their antics and violations of their tax-exempt status, the IRS can revoke their status and shut them down.

Once you complete the form, you can email it to eoclass@***.gov or you can mail it. Please stand up to this company!

Thank you for this information @Tblade29. This company is extremely unprofessional and nearly lost us a house after telling us that we could get the house based on a grant that was never 100% guaranteed, which they failed to tell us.

The mortgage company I went with after, told me that was extremely unprofessional and she has never heard of a mortgage company doing that. She was also concerned about the amount of times NACA pulled my credit. She told me that credit is usually pulled for 120 days before needing to be pulled again. NACA 'pulled my credit' 3 times while working with them (from April2019 - July2019), or at least I thought they did.

The mortgage company I ended up going with said that my report doesn't show, anywhere, that NACA tried to pull my credit, meaning that they pocketed the money every time we paid for a credit report pull. When I contacted them about a receipt and confirmation of my credit being pulled, they bounced me around between the Buffalo, NY office and the Boston, MA office. Every person I spoke to told me that NACA does not give receipts and they referred me to my online file where the proof was. I had each person walk me through the website on where I could find this information and each time I was unable to find the information.

Mind you, I am in the tech field and know much about websites. I searched the website up and down and found no proof of my credit being pulled, only the amount they charged me ($13.41), the type (Credit Report) and the dates. I was even told by one of the associates I spoke to, that its possible NACA doesn't show up on the credit report when they pull your credit....Come On.... When I sent the email to my 'counselor' letting him know that I was leaving NACA to go with a different mortgage company, he seemed fine with it and let me know that he needed a letter stating that the reason I was leaving is because the grant did not go through, he CC'd his building manager in the email.

I sent him and everyone he CC'd in his email a written document stating that I was leaving NACA for another mortgage company and included in the email that I was NOT leaving because of the grant not going through, I am leaving because I was told that I could get a house based on a grant that I was never guaranteed to get (which was never told to us) and that NACA had caused much stress on our family plus wasted not only our time and money but the sellers as well. He sent back an extremely unprofessional email that went on to say that I have horrible character and so on. This is where I left it. This company is a scam and I'm ashamed of myself for falling into a trap of one of the biggest scams the United States has seen in a while.

I have two main concerns: 1. With those who have gotten a house through NACA and where they will be when NACA finally gets shut down. 2.

Those who are going into a deal with NACA who don't fully understand that they have so many options out there and NACA should not be considered as one of them. I will most certainly download the f13909 file, fill it out and send it over to the IRS email you provided.

You're welcome. There are so many complaints about them but people bring them to the internet instead of the regulating authorities which is why they get away with it.

NACA also has several lawsuits filed against them according to their CPA, Gonzalez & Associates. Check out the 2016-**** comparative financial statements online which state they have various lawsuits against them.

While the need to bring the file to our Tuesday Night Review conference indicates there was some sort of unusual issue that had to be dealt with, there is certainly no excuse for having been lied to as you indicate. Please bring your evidence of the manager's lying to NACA Member Services at 425-602-6222 so a formal complaint can be filed and it can be brought to the attention of the regional director for investigation and appropriate disciplinary action.Tim TrumbleOnline Operations, NACAttrumble@naca.com
